I have always made it a point to be physically active. In high school, I represented my state in national level hurdling competitions. After moving to Bangkok, I developed a new passion: yoga. I was introduced to it years earlier, but I increased my frequency and dedication to practice then. Since then, I have continued to train both individually and in group class settings led by a teacher. Recently, I underwent a 200 hour training program in order to receive a certification to teach yoga myself. Teaching yoga has invigorated and inspired me, along with intensifying my practice and commitment to the discipline. Taking even just a few moments to focus on your breath and look inward has a profound impact on your life. Yoga fulfills my responsibility to take care of my body physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
