Scott GalbraithBoard of Directors
Scott began his 35-year arts career as a New York-based actor, touring nationally and internationally, including Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. He has since served as author, director, marketing director, and producer, and guided the artistic curation at three non-profit performing arts centers as Vice President, most recently at Walton Arts Center (Fayetteville, AR). His industry service further includes Tony® Award voter, National Endowment for the Arts (grant review panelist), China Shanghai International Arts Festival (guest speaker), and Co-Founder and President of A Rising Tide Theatrical Group, a producing and consulting company.
Much of Scott’s work has focused on expanding Western audiences’ cultural palate by demystifying diversity, increasing equity, representation, and opportunity for diverse arts workers, and amplifying authentic voices. In joining the RVCF board, he hopes to enhance the organization’s non-profit expertise and increase appreciation for and participation in Indian classical arts by students and audiences from all cultures. RVCF looks forward to adding Scott’s expertise in diversifying the arts to its mission of promoting traditional Indian music, dance, and theater in Northwest Arkansas! |
