I am a B.Pharm graduate from SRM University and worked for two years in Zifo technologies, IT Pharma Company (Clinical research Based Company) at Chennai.
I have been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of six. There were many Gurus who helped me identify my way to excel in this art and talent. The Guru who leveraged my skills to reach the next level in dancing (Arangetram) was Smt. Kokila Sriram.
Additionally, I was lucky enough to be part of a Historical Event which was the grand celebration of 1000 years since Tanjore temple was built and 1000 Bharathanatyam dancers performed at the temple as a symbol of offering to Lord Nataraja on the occasion. I was one among the 1000 dancers as well as renowned dancers who performed on that occasion. Another remarkable one is the stage performance in Kamaraj arangam, Chennai with famous singer Nithya Sree Mahadevan. I also had an opportunity to be part of the International Dance Festival, Mahabalipuram.

On the whole, Bharatanatyam has been my passion from the time I started learning it. My parents were also very much encouraging and supportive, without whom I wouldn't be what I am today.
I am a member of ABHAI (Association of Bharathanatyam Artistes of India) which is an organization for the entire dance fraternity founded in 1987. I used to attend workshops organized by them, which benefitted me by learning from great gurus like Alarmel Valli, Padma Subramanian and many others.
