Kalaloka Institute of Fine Arts
Growing on new soil. Nurturing Indian arts and culture in Northwest Arkansas. The banyan tree spreads its roots throughout its branches, bringing nourishment to every twig and every leaf, no matter where on the tree they grow.
The banyan tree is the symbol of the Kalaloka Institute of Fine Arts (KIFA) because KIFA nourishes all branches of classic Indian performing art. KIFA is the recognized hub for Indian dance, music, and theater in NWA, offering classes, performances, workshops, informal gatherings, and jam sessions. Our space at 1380 SW Westpark Drive in Bentonville is alive with opportunity, learning, and fun!
No matter your age or skill level, KIFA has something for you. Scheduled classes in dance, theater, and music are held throughout the school year, and the space is always available for others to conduct their own classes, for social events, and for family celebrations. There’s plenty of room to learn and perform, plus the friendliest staff in Northwest Arkansas!
KIFA—helping the artist grow, bringing joy to the community!
Classes are held August through May over two sessions - Fall and Spring. We offer classes for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Some classes may be for mixed age groups. Check out both age group options to find the class you would like to attend.
